My passion is helping individuals, families and business owners achieve peace of mind by developing and implementing creative, customized, and yet cost effective strategies to protect their personal, financial and business interests. I do this by treating my clients like family, protecting their interests as if they were my own, and making sound recommendations to help them accomplish their goals. I give my full attention to every client that walks through my door and I work hard to exceed their expectations.   

 

I practice law so I can use my education, training, and experience to best serve my clients. To that end, I have focused my practice to Wills, Trusts and Estate Planning, Business Planning and Asset Protection. In order to keep abreast of the latest trends and developments in the law, I became an active member of WealthCounsel, a national community of top estate planning professionals and nationally recognized thought leaders, committed to the highest standard of practice excellence. The WealthCounsel platform offers its members a collaborative approach to Trust and Estate Planning and helps ensure that its members are constantly kept at the leading edge of the newest Estate Planning ideas and real world approaches.   

 

I believe that effective planning is critical to the financial, physical, and emotional well-being of my clients, and I am grateful for the opportunity to be involved in the process. I have been licensed to practice law since 2007 and have since been admitted to the Bar of the State of North Carolina, the Bar of the State of New Jersey and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. My education includes a Juris Doctorate degree from New York Law School, a Master’s Degree from Seton Hall University in Professional Education and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland where I attended on a four-year football scholarship. My professional affiliations include membership in the American Bar Association, Wake County Bar Association and the North Carolina Tenth Judicial District Bar. I am currently the President of the North Carolina Forum of Estate Planning Attorneys, a non-profit dedicated to the betterment of the estate planning practice and the delivery of estate planning services to the residents of North Carolina.   

 

When I am not at work I spend time with my family, friends and church community. I volunteer my free time coaching in the various youth sports leagues, providing legal services to the less fortunate and serving on the boards of non-profits and charitable organizations.
